Hello, Everyone!

My Name is Shirley Ruth Caron, I'm 61 years old and I reside on the South side of Indianapolis, Indiana with my Loving Husband, Mike, who is 67. I am a Renowned Poet and was Inducted into The International Poetry Hall of Fame in 1992, I'm a Singer/Songwriter, Talent Promoter, Vice President of M & S Public Relations(Talent Promotion), and Chairperson of my Two Non Profit Organizations, "Protect Our Children" at: http://saveourchildren2006.tripod.com and "Shirley's Epilepsy Awareness Program" at: http://shirleysepilepsyawarenessprogram.tripod.com.

I have received several High Achievement Awards and Editors' Choice Awards from several different Poetry Organizations. I own several Poetry Anthologies with my Published Poetry in them and also own a Couple of Cassettes titled, "Sound of Poetry" which has Two of my Poems on them "The Final Frontier" and "Shadows."

I have Written over 100 Poems and Songs which I am very Proud of and several of them are Gospel Songs.

I have had a Record Contract for the past Seven Years with Emerald Records in Nashville, Tennessee and my Producer is Mr. Cliff Ayres Ostermeyer(Owner/Producer)of Emerald Records, The Entertainer Network, Record Row Review, and The EIA(Entertainer Indi-Association)Awards Show in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Ayres is also been Inducted into The Big Band Hall of Fame!

Singing has been my Career because I love to Sing!!! Because of my Poor Health, my Singing has been put on a back shelf, so to speak. I have Two Steel Rods in my Spine from a Factory Injury several years ago, I have Degeneration of my Spine, Lower Back and Hips, and both Knee Joints, Osteoarthritis, I almost lost my Right Leg when I was struck by a Car back in 1985(my Leg was broken in Six Places below the Knee!), I have a Gall Bladder that needs to be removed, but, the Surgeons won't operate on me because I am a High-Risk Patient because of all my Health Problems, and the malfunction of my Gall Bladder is effecting my Liver, and I have Suffered with Epilepsy since I was 14 years old. I have Fundraising Events Two to Three Times a year to raise Funds for The National Epilepsy Foundation to help them find a possible Cure for this Dreadful Disease that Kills Millions, Young and Old every year!

 

I have a lot of Strong Faith in God, and He is my Rock, my Strength, and my Determination to make it through every day of my Life!
